My name is Kristen, I am the office manager at Wood Buffalo Temps. I have been in my current role for just over 5 years now, but I have been around this business since it was opened. Sharon is my mom and I had the privilege of watching her build this business from ground up. I even got to spend some time temping for her as a young adult, so I really have seen all aspects of this company. Fort McMurray is my hometown, my family has moved around a bit, but we always seemed to be drawn back to McMurray. I attended Timberlea Public School for elementary, my handprints are on the front pillar somewhere. Most of my high school years were at Westwood (where I met my husband) with one semester at Father Mercredi. I then completed a two-year diploma course at Keyano College. I have three kids ages 14, 11, and 9, both of my sons were born at Northern Lights hospital. Fort McMurray always draws me back because of the sense of community that this city provides. The support that our residents and business’ provide to each other is truly amazing and I am proud to call Fort McMurray my home town.
